I can't think of much to say today - I'm an auntie to a beautiful niece! That is all I need to keep a smile plastered across my face for .... well, let's just say, a very long time! I know it wasn't written with this in mind, but this song is for Finnley. "I hope you don't mind, I put down in words how wonderful life is now that you're in the world." I first heard this song when my nephew was still a baby and I felt the same way about him too! Such a great day! I can't wait to shower this new little bundle of niece with love this weekend.

A Triumph for Love
Sometimes I don't know what is up with the world. Today is Jackie Robinson day and the day my very first niece may come into the world; oh, wait, don't forget to make it tax day and add a bombing at the Boston Marathon! Seriously? As if the tax day wasn't enough! I seriously wish the world could just take a chill pill. It isn't really my personality, so I guess it don't come close to understanding, but how can there be people in the world that are just filled with so much hate? Hate, hate, hate - I hate hate. It is good to get angry from time to time; then you let it go/work through it. I rather remember this day as a day that love and compassion triumphed over hate, anger, and ignorance. Love to those of Boston, especially the those that lost someone or a part of themselves. Help these people to have the love around them to rise above the hate that was shown them.

One of Each
I got some pretty exciting news tonight. I'm going to have a niece come April. SO HAPPY! Now I can buy both girly and boy-ish things! : D Just think of all the cute things this girl's aunties are going to do to her. She is going to be so spoiled. Hmm...I wonder if you can take out a bank account in some one's name even if they don't technically "exist" yet. I already have one for my nephew, time to break one out for the niece. I'll have to split that $5 every other week between the two of them now. I'm kinda hoping they stop at one each now, because when all is said and done, five bank accounts for nephews and nieces is going to be a lot! I'll still love them tons and tons. Maybe I'll get them a lottery ticket someday. Wonder who won the Mega big bucks tonight. It wasn't me, so I don't really care all that much. Well, I need to get back to that depressing book so I can be finished with it by tomorrow.
