Bridal Shower Prep

My mom, my sister, and I are starting an assembly line of apron making. This weekend we are having a cooking themed bridal shower and every one is getting an apron! This means we have lots of sewing to do. It is actually really fun picking out the fabric and trim. We made the bride a white apron with platinum trim since her bridesmaids dresses are platinum. The shower concept it really interesting: each person brings a special/favorite family recipe and a special dish to serve it in or one of the ingredients for the recipe. It is a little scary to think about how many serving platters and dishes they might walk away with, but it is still a cool idea for sharing family recipes.
